Hi! I'm Abel and I just draw as a hobby.
Art isn't my major/main concern. I'm currently getting a degree in Biotechnology.
Most of my works are original pieces and occaional fanart!

-How do you draw?
I'm bad at answering this because I mainly wing it. I make a decent sketch layout and just go ham. I mainly utilize brushes that blend nice and also, depending on the pressure, can be colored very lightly. So I paint over a sketch with what appears to be low opacity to sculpt the form and get some basics down before moving forward! to solidify the colors I usually duplicate and merge layers

-How do you plan out your drawings?
It varies! Usually an ideal mood/ posture gives a good idea once I get that down I tend to snatch a lot of reference pictures. Most of the times I look at specific paintings to get some idea of how my art would look. If it's a reference I try to get a pose to pinpoint their personality
-Do you take commissions?
At the moment, no. I do have a commission info, but due to my dysfunctional household I have little to no time to myself to art without it being used against me. This also contributes to lengthy queue times due to how unpredictable my situation is.
-Why do you not have a CuriousCat?
Due to an overwhelming amount of asks that were laced with malicious intent. My cc inbox was used to initiate drama and make harsh claims with little to no proof instead of dming me to discuss things. It became more of a place to start something and not the intent I had in mind: discuss ocs and art progress. Due to this I've opt'd out of using CC.
